Food for Future - Future of Food" (EUREKA), April 2-3, Budapest
Under the aegis of the Hungarian EUREKA Chairmanship a conference and matchmaking event will be organized in Budapest on 2- 3 April 2012, in line with the Hungarian Chairmanship Initiative: promoting RTD driven project generation focusing on grand challenges related to the food technologies.
The program of the conference is enclosed.
One of the main priorities of the Hungarian EUREKA Chairmanship is to increase the number of industry-driven R&D projects, in particular those with a strong participation of European SMEs. In this context a fruitful cooperation has started between EUREKA and the European Technology Platforms active in food, ICT, manufacturing, energy and water-related technologies applying a multidisciplinary approach with the purpose of generating new EUREKA or EUROSTARS projects in food-related technologies.
The „Food for Future - Future of Food” conference is a stocktaking event in this process based on multidisciplinary dialogue between the different technological areas with a clear ambition to generate business cases/opportunities for the industry.
