  • Enhance welfare within Europe through diversity and excellence of food research driven regions.
  • Make the "regional aspects" of FP 7 a 'reality'.
  • Construct a 'sustainable' ERA in FOOD-sciences.

FCI is a learning platform for regional policies and innovation instruments, but also a platform to develop new interregional research and development projects.
